Se nos asigna el proyecto para el montaje de la teccnología necesaria del Centro de Votación principal de un Ayuntamiento para las elecciones del 14 de Febrero en Cataluña.

Requisitos del proyecto

El proyecto se asigna con muy poco tiempo previo a la jornada electoral y hay que utilizar un switch (y su transceptor a fibra correspondiente) para enlazar con el segundo switch.

Soluciones

Previa a la instalación de fibra instalamos tres nuevos Ubitiquis Unifi UAP-AC-LR en dos ubicaciones diferentes para sustituir a los antiguos AP-LR. Se realiza posterior adopción al controlador general de la red.

El problema principal de este proyecto fue el paso de la fibra a través de techos no practicables. Para ello, se utilizaron pequeños orificios existentes para cajas de electricidad y a través de ellos se pudieron enlazar por tubos como guías.

Una vez establecida la fibra doble (fibra adicional de backup), se monta el segundo rack, se montan las cajas de fibra en cada uno de los dos racks, el segundo switch, su conversor a fibra, se fusionan las fibras y se consigue el correcto enlace entre los dos switchs. Se instala y configura un cuarto Unifi UAP-AC-LR para dar cobertura en el centro de votación.

Finalmente, se realizan pruebas finales de cobertura, funcionamiento general y velocidad. Tras 14 horas seguidas de instalación se da el proyecto por finalizado.
